he never identified as transgender

Shopped at Target before, and this won't change that. Beats going to Wal-Mart.

OK, you spoke of common sense a moment ago. If they had called the cops all the guy had to do was tell them he "identifies" as a woman. There's nothing in the law giving any guidelines of how feminine he has to appear. All he's got to do is claim he "identifies" as a woman and he's in the clear. So using that common sense you mentioned earlier, don't you think he'd have done this if the cops had been called?
And if anything, this story illustrates how insane and out of control this "transgender" issues has become. I guarantee the main reason the staff (or any parents) never called the cops on this guy is they were afraid of being labeled as "intolerant" and bigots against someone in the LGBT "community". Yeah he may have never even have come out and said the words to the staff, but the mere mention of the law was enough to get them to cow down and let him do as he pleased.

correct
which is where the "gray" comes in play with these laws
at what point does a person have to resemble the opposite sex before they are able to use the other facilities? I don't think just saying "I'm a woman" while wearing men's clothes and having masculine features should suffice.
So should they just be able to put on a dress and a wig? maybe?
But just like the case with Chester the Molester going into a boys locker room and sitting in the corner watching little boys change, as a parent I will instruct my daughter to come get me if she ever feels uncomfortable.

And there's the problem. Once you no longer limit locker room or bathroom use based on actual physical characteristics, and instead allow people to use whatever they want based on what they "identify" as, there really is no way to set a guideline on just how much the person has to look like their chosen gender. They can appear as much like a women or as little like a woman as they want since the concept of "femininity" is subject to the differing views of individuals. It won't matter. All that will matter is they claim to "identify" as that gender.

And when you confront "him/her" you'll be at best branded a bigot and "homophobic" or at worst be charged with harassment and violating their civil rights.

which is why it is such a debate
there are plenty of trans people that look just like women that just want to use the restroom, which is who these laws are supposed to be created for and protect
but with anything, yes, there will be people that abuse the laws
how often this abuse actually happens, I don't know, but I doubt it is anymore than pervs that are already allowed in locker rooms with little boys

It's not just about a face on currency, nor is it just about a statue, or a college mascot name, or a business' decision to allow trannies to use gender-opposite bathrooms, it's about all of those things and everything else not mentioned that, although each of little singular importance, together act as indicators of where our society is and where it's heading. And it's not anywhere good.
It's like a Cold War of societal norms and each little thing, albeit insignificant by itself, is another victory and another step in the wrong direction. That's when you wake up and think, "how the hell did we get here??"

This. Exactly. What is so hard to understand about this?!?

The feelings of the women are unimportant to you and the SJWs? Is that what you are saying when you mocked their feelings?
I'm just trying to understand the other side.
The other side is that we already have legislation/laws to make sexual harassment, voyeurism, rape, etc. illegal.
How about we stop doing the legislative morality thing? My housemate is a lesbian and considers herself somewhere in between male/female.. but not quite transgender I think.
And honestly she couldn't give a shite about this nonsense. It seems like the only people who care are pandering to the retards of their base.

You have a problem with a black womans face being on currency.
Perhaps you're the idiot
I mean Jesus fricking Christ man I'm embarrassed for you

Sit you'd be ok with sending your daughter into a bathroom with some guy who claims he's "transgender"?
What's stopping her from using the rest room somewhere else if she is uncomfortable? I'd tell her to man the frick up.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you'll change you mind once you get married or have a daughter.

What is stopping her from leaving the restroom if someone is making her uncomfortable?
Seriously. If we want to stress personal responsibility how about practicing what you fricking preach?
What's stopping a man currently from going into the womens restroom?

Yeah. Deal with it. For all you know Tim has a vagina and sits down to pee.
Such a small-government thing to do.. require birth certificate checks prior to entering a restroom
It's fricking absurd

Minnesota based Target starts allowing transgenders in women's bathrooms. The next day, the most famous person in Minnesota dies.

At least you are honest when you show that you don't give a frick about how others think about your AGENDA issues. I can respect that.
