No school district is going to adopt a policy to keep parents “in the dark.”

If they want to keep their jobs at the next board election.

But everything around this issue is mostly solutions in search of problems. Like when the Texas legislature passed a ban on trans competing in college sports. Which has zero cases of happening to date.

It's just amazing to me that corporations get involved in stuff like this. If I'm running a business I'm going to be Switzerland.

I just watched that dorky Rick Steves show on PBS where he went to off the path places in the Alps in the summer. I want to go so bad now. It looks awesome there. On topic with the thread, there were no trannies in those mountains.

Of course. No trans has ever competed in collegiate sports in this country, so obviously it could never happen in a far right town and school like Austin and UT.

There are plenty of videos online showing parents showing up at school board meetings protesting sexually explicit materials and lesson plans in their kids' schools that were never revealed to the parents prior to entering them into the school. Some parents were actually kicked out simply for reading those materials because it was deemed offensive and inappropriate. Nothing happens to the school board members.

GLSEN calls for gender ideology to be integrated into all classes, even math. It provides educators instructions on how they can make math "more inclusive of trans and non-binary identities" by including "they/them" pronouns in word problems.

Looks like the math skills will be lacking multiplication skills.

North Face is trying to change that..

The North Face, an American outdoor recreation products company, has jumped on the “Pride” bandwagon that nearly destroyed Bud Light.

On Wednesday the brand unveiled a “Summer of Pride” video campaign on Instagram featuring gay drag performer Pattie Gonia.

“Hi, it’s me Patti Gonia — a real-life homosexual. Today I’m here with the North Face, and we are here to invite you to come out in nature with us!” Gonia said in the video.

I need a Wal-Mart where I live. Can’t imagine a Bentonville based corp gets wrapped up in this bullshite.

Target is completely focused on marketing to liberal urban/suburban white women who are the cause for 99% of problems in the western world.

When is the annual meeting? If a company does something I don't like and the meeting is coming up I vote against the board of directors. If it already happened I sell.

I was already boycotting Target as both a consumer and investor so I can't hit them any further.

I have a Fred Meyer.

Its better than Target, but don't tell the suburban white women. It will hurt their esteem.

That's certainly true for a lot of businesses. They have to play by the DEI rules. But Target and InBev don't. They are too big to have any capital problems. They can get as much as they want, when they want. They are doing this by choice.

I wonder at the internal struggle of you poor bastards that think one can be “groomed” into a certain sexual preference or identity. It’s in you or it’s not. Social acceptance merely influences whether one hides it or embraces it.

Love yourself. It’s ok.

This is why reasonable people call you crazy. You think domestic terrorism is the natural response to something that challenges your limited worldview. This kind of talk has inspired lots of weak, easily influenced people that identify with conservative ideology to perform acts of domestic terrorism over the last few years. And it’s getting worse as the right loses touch with reality.
