Ok..the rapist who is the biological parent It still is a separate judgemenr from the other biological parent who may also be a piece of excrement even if not on the same level.

Louisiana law is supposed to preclude a rapist from parental rights.

The legalese used in Louisiana is different than other states. There is no crime of statutory rape in Louisiana. It is Carnal Knowledge of a juvenile.

Because slept with other older guys consensually while she was in high school? Because her cousin was convicted of theft? It’s incredibly stupid that we even know those things as they have no bearing on the crux of this case. The people posting these petty things are small, small individuals and anyone swayed based on things people did when they were 16 are even smaller.

Exactly what is verified that would qualify her as an unfit mother that we have besides assertions made by a desperate man feeling the walls close in on him so he’s trying to leverage whatever he has(web design) to character assassinate his victim and try and deflect narratives?
Frankly, the mere existence of that website is some psycho behavior shite, and makes all the accusations of him being hyper controlling and a domestic abuser seem much more plausible now.
As for the mother, she has other kids, you would think if she was truly unfit child protective services would have been involved with the whole family. You would expect to see some sort of criminal history or documentation that this is a recurring incident.
Having her cousin help her navigate the PR and it not being brought up in brief interviews isn’t a crime. Her having terrible taste in men, also isn’t a crime. Nor is having casual sex(something Barnes seems like he was big on himself). Nor does frequency of partners mean she couldn’t have been raped(seems like this is always a go-to, that because a woman has an active sex life any rape couldn’t have been rape cause she’s just a whore, or has no one to blame but herself).
Once again it feels like a lot of people are wanting to jump to the most insidious interpretations and assumptions about the mother, while wanting to paint the rapist with a much softer brush.
I would like to see what a third party, non corrupted investigation comes up with because Barnes and his website are not a reliable or unbiased narrator.

From multiple reporting on the case quoting legal experts, they seem to assert that felony carnal knowledge would bear the same loss of custodial privileges.
Which is where the corruption question comes into play. Because the workaround would be to just never investigate, charge, or take the accusations into judgement if you were attempting to bias your rulings to one party over the other.

Different states have different terms for it. But, colloquially, it is pretty much always referred to as statutory rape.
