I sure hate to hear this...the tanden saga made this Christmas one that I will remember for a long time.

FWIW, she got this little guy from a nest behind her house, so I am betting the rest of the litter is swimming around back there as well....just sayin....

Well, actually $296 if you deduct the $4 she has waiting for her for the tail.

@#$%^&% Obama takes one last parting shot at our culture as he leaves office, killing an innocent nutria. Disgusting, but par for the course.

We will miss you, Tanden. You were too good for this world.

Thank you for the update. I'm sincerely sorry to read the sad ending. I truly enjoyed this story and think your sister is a wonderful young lady.

If Tandy from Last Man on Earth had a pet, it would have been Tanden, and his short unexplainable life and death would have made so much sense.

Grew up in NY. In 4th grade we had a year long science experiment where we raised "Crayfish"

At the end of the year the teacher allowed us to take it home.

My pet "Crayfish" survived until I was in 10th grade and had grown to 8" in length. It died when it was stuck trying to molt it's outer shell.

The dang thing was a great scavenger. Any sick/dead fish were immediately snatched up and devoured. It even hung off a plastic aquarium plant grabbing the goldfish and bringing it into his hollowed log home.
