Yes. I remember at 14 was when I first really started chasing girls. It was around that age I first made out with a girl I dated and I fell head over heels for her and when we broke up it destroyed me emotionally for awhile.

You aren’t mature at that age, and you don’t handle casual sex like you do as an adult. I think it wasn’t until I was 16-17 that I could do casual hookups without any emotional attachment coming into play.

While a 14 year old boy wouldn’t be traumatized from sex itself with a 22 year old woman in the same fashion a 14 old woman would be with an adult man, she can still be predatory in how she manipulates the boys emotions and feelings. She probably craves attention and knows a young boy will fall head over heels for her and give her all the attention in the world. The reality is it can create deep emotional scarring when the boy realizes she never loved him and used him, even if he was proud of the sex.
