I try to avoid Talladega at all cost during race weekend.
Sometimes my dad will decide to rent his camper to people, I'll take it and set it up for him. That is the only time i go anywhere near that place race weekend.

I remember meeting you in the jungle (what we call the free parking area). If I remember right there was a fight and the cops came. You and I started talking randomly and then we figured out who we both were on TD. Good times.

Years ago in Texas we got REAL frickered up Saturday night, there was this reheaded stripper dancing butt naked on top of a camper next to us.
The next morning I'm sitting at a table (hungover as hell) eating breakfast , this chick gets a plate and sits next to me.
I'm like "you look familiar" ha ha

Went for about 10yrs in the 90s, early 00s...
Camped in the Family camp area before and after they marked sites and started charging.
OV Hill tower North I think
Used to drive through what we called "the animal section" which was pretty wild...
Then prices for everything started climbing. Restricted cruising through other camping areas. Cops going by the campsites every 10min... banning our outdoor shower setup (gray water).
The ROI was decreasing..... so we quit.
Miss the "guys weekend" and the sound of the cars all weekend....

Headed there after work today. I think it's supposed to rain on Sunday so the race will probably get take forever or get delayed.

Who gives a shite about the way things were. I'm here, it's cold as frick, raining until noon. Camp fire is non existant, we're racing today though

Went there about 30 years ago... I just saw some recent videos of titty alley.. How things have changed... Those girls weren't born yet when I went.
There were 4 of us in an old RV in the infield... I am not into NASCAR but had a good time. Saw some sites.
