Circle C Ranch, Steiner Ranch, Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock, Bee Cave, Lakeway.

Looking for a neighborhoods that are kid friendly, has good schools,tennis/basketball courts, community pools...where kids can play with their friends from school in the evenings and on the weekends and develop deep friendships. Basically a neighbordhood with young families that feels like a close-knit community.

They're all fine places to live. I'd be more selective depending on location of your work.

Some of those are neighborhoods in Austin and some of those are suburbs. We're in our late 20's and just bought in South Austin. Really like the neighborhood.

We looked at Steiner because we have a boat and they have private docks on the lake for residents but it's too far out for us to be practical. Can't really talk to any of the other places you mentioned

I like Bee Cave a lot. I visit a friend there occasionally and love the vibe. Yes the wife is a Stalinist.

We lived in around Rock for several years and loved it. It’s a suburb, not a neighborhood. Steiner Ranch is a neighborhood

I have to commute to downtown 2-3 times a week.

This starts and ends at a budget.

What is your budget?

If you want your kids to turn gay, then Austin and the surrounding suburbs are perfect for you

For that, then you should consider Georgetown, as well. The best downtown of all the places you listed, good schools, easy access to highways, good parks.

Are you working remotely?

Parts of Leander & CP would be okay for you, Bee Cave is out there, Steiner can be nice...but 620 traffic is a joke. Personally, I don't care for Round Rock as it's too close to the shite, and I wouldn't even consider Austin...for multiple reasons.

Wife works downtown and my office is downtown, but with travel, proxemity to the airport is more important. We are west of 35 though, I didn't buy in the cow pasture
