My youngest is now old enough to be able to understand/remember the trip, so the wife & I are taking our 3 to Orlando for the week (arrive Christmas evening & leaving Friday morning).

We did not think LSU would land the Citrus Bowl once again, particularly when we booked, so we're not staying for the bowl game. Still planning on wearing LSU apparel all week. Hope to see a lot of other Tiger families around the parks.

Are there any LSU events going on at Disney or Universal prior to bowl game day? Or anything worth bringing the family to around the stadium or downtown Orlando?

Good luck.

Do not focus on the crowds, focus on the fact you are spending time with your family. Enjoy yourself. Make some memories.

Disney Springs has a lot of good restaurants. Bongos I'd recommend highly.

They decorate the parks up really nice too.

A stronger man would have told his wife he wasn't going to fricking Disney.

Was there last year. Got pics with my kids and some players at Magic Kingdom a couple days before the game. The band played in the parade the day before the game I think. I didn’t get to see them. Got pics with Etling and the Oline, Godchaux and Duke Riley. Saw Guice but didn’t get a picture. It was cool, my kids loved it!

I've only been around Christmas/NYE, so I've only know Disney in those conditions. If you're in a rush for anything, it will be miserable. If you've got the right mindset, it will be fine.

Why not travel to a real place where you and your family can make real memories instead of the plastic vaporware experience that is Disney?

I’d rather dip my balls in honey and sit in a fire ant pile rather than go this week. Get there early because they shut that shite down when it gets to capacity.

Did that one year. Plenty of tiger fans there. Also remember it's summer in the other hemisphere so it's packed with those people. Brazil in particular.
