Tailgating Question -- Inverters

I want to run a satellite receiver and a TV off an inverter. What size/capacity do I need? How often do I have to start my car to keep the battery from running down?
TIA
TIA

Look at the wattage for the receiver and TV. Add those together. Make sure your inverter supplies at least that.
We cranked the car about every half hour and ran it for a few minutes.

Mine is a little bigger than that.

Buy a car that comes with a power outlet.

Get one of adequate size/capacity and start the car as often as needed to keep the battery from running down.

Use some OPS funds and buy yourself a generator.

Sorry, dude. I'm tired! But I will be fully recharged by Saturday!

We do this at our tailgate, but just have 2 batteries charged up and ready for game day... we switch out when needed.

That’s the way to do it if you don’t want to go the generator route.

And pay attention to where the exhaust fumes from the car are drifting.
