If I'm in the left lane, overtaking a vehicle in the right lane, I ignore the a-hole behind me who wants to pass the vehicle in the right lane a little quicker. I'll eventually get back over to let them by. When, depends on how aggressive they are. It's especially fun to wait until they start to try and pass in the right, then start to slowly try to change too. The oops! Didn't see ya there, gotta get back over! Oops back into the right lane! All a big mistake you see.

Haha, clearly you aren’t from Louisiana. I am religious about staying out of the left lane unless passing, but I can’t drive a few miles down I-10 without some a-hole going 90mph tailgating because I didn’t get around an 18-wheeler quickly enough. Or tailgating in the right lane for no reason at all.

I'm a pretty courteous driver. If someone is blocking the left lane or not paying attention, I'll get close but not too close to see if they change lanes. If they refuse or are obviously distracted, I'll wait until I can pass on the right, make sure there are no kids in the car and then cut them off to where they have to take a heart-racing evasive maneuver. Judging by their shocked face and skidding car, they usually don't suspect my action and I never have to tap my brakes slowing me down. I'm also in front of them so the altercation is usually over with quickly and I'm on my way. It's a win/win scenario.
On a side note, I don't cut slower drivers off who are actually passing, I know the rules of the road. I just hate distracted drivers.

left land driving is a huge epidemic, and it's every class of people and every race/ethnicity. It's terrible.

When the person tailgated me yesterday it was out of no where. So they either decided to pull out on my arse or they were doing well over 90. But they were very deliberate about it and that’s what I can’t take. Usually if I’m in the left lane I’m passing a few cars on the right driving a bit slower than me. But if I see someone behind me catching up I’ll see it in time to move over before they even get close. There wasn’t much traffic last night. This car came out of nowhere and got within “feet” of my bumper. They even creeped up a bit more cuz I didn’t throw my car into the right lane which would have insanely been a bad idea and I would have ended up on some one else’s arse or right in front of them.

I was driving down 30 a few months ago and someone was tailgating the hell out of me. He was driving a big, unmarked moving truck. I brake checked him hard and he backed off for a minute. Then he came up really close and i could see that he was one of our friends from the south and was taking a picture of my license plate. I wondered if i would be getting a little visit from the cartel. Im still here

If you're in the passing lane, not only should I be able to tailgate you, I should be able to legally take you out with hood mounted machine guns.

There isn't much I detest more than someone tailgating you when you're in the passing lane and can't go any faster because someone is in front of you passing too slowly...except the person cruising along in the left lane without a care in the world causing traffic to back up. Both of those drivers are assholes.
