Won’t hold up in court. Although it sounds more like this is aimed at companies that send mass texts

Seems like it is against the first amendment and would be corporate suicide

They are nervous about the backlash and recoil that they will inevitably face when things crack off one day. Make no mistake its coming, the feds just want to know when. Good luck to them. Theres a certain group of folks I can think of that have been treated like shite although they control almost all the money. Things arent so nice when that other shoe drops.

What does the Constitution have to do with a business?

Amazingly people don't understand that the 1A only applies if the Government restricts your free speech.

I’m sure they have an independent panel of experts.

While I'm starting to sway into the camp of companies that take large amounts of monies from the government should have to abide by 1st Amendment rulings, currently the 1st Amendment applies to the government only.

They’re 100% within their rights to control traffic on networks they own, but it just seems a little slimy to me that they would choose fines over termination of service.

So, if I text you photos of a new AR-15 build, it's hateful?

Yeah well seems like if t-mobile is fining individual cell users for texts they deem fineable by whatever definition, everyone would drop t-mobile. Could seem them trying to crack down on spam texts as they are getting out of control.

Because T-Mobile is not the government doing the monitoring.

make sure you work the words 'hate', 'tobacco', 'sex', 'alcohol' (preferably moonshine to really get them going) and sit back and wait for AI to pronounce your judgement.

:hmmm: I hate tobacco but like alcohol and love sex. A cop friend of mine makes the best moonshine.
