T-ball World Series

My niece left her beach vacation early last night to get her son home for the 6 and under all-stars T-ball World Series in Brookhaven, MS. And yes he has one of "those names". 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place get rings. Damn but this is ridiculous. My son's best friend from high school has a 10 year old that does the travel ball thing. He has accumulated 38 rings in his "career". His name is "Jaxson". Will the lunacy ever end? Smdh

It is ridiculous how every single parent can claim their kid is playing in the “World Series”
My nephew sucks balls and they invited us to their leagues “World Series” last month. My 12 year old team would have 10 run ruled them and they finished 3rd and got rings. What a joke

Got a friend in Texas who posts pictures of her grandsons 6U t-ball travel team complete with rings as big as a couple of fingers. It's just weird.

Just openly make fun of it in front of them. It'll eventually sort itself out.

6u World Series in Brookhaven MS is Dixie Youth Allstars which is rec ball not travelball fwiw..
Of the many arguments between Travelball and Rec ball atleast travelball season ends on your own terms..
Rec ball Allstars can drag throughout the entire summer as long as your team continues to advance.

Who the frick wants to go to Brookhaven for a week to watch a 6 year play one game a day?
That’s why they have these tournaments/World Series in Florida or Orange Beach. At least you have things to do in your free time.

Most of these “World Series” gives out rings to every team that participates. LilPerm threw a gem in our championship game but the coaches son Jaxon at SS made three errors and we lost the game. I made him throw the participation ring in the trash can as we walked to the car. Mrs Perm and LilPerm weren’t thrilled with that life lesson.
