Why specifically white people aren't allowed to? Does that imply other races are allowed joke they're genetically superior and only specifically white people can't?

Seems like it's not the joke that's offensive but the spectre of the truth.

Sometimes I wonder if some of these companies create these "controversies" because it gives them a lot more for the money spent on the ad. How long has that been? And here is an article about it. They sold a lot of jeans from that ad.

I'd argue that I don't even know anyone that was actually enraged about that ad (and I'm a middle-aged white woman). And that it was likely one of those situations where some random person on Twitter bitched about it and then media ran with it to rage bait.
