That’s not just your regular airliner either. It’s an A380. If he gets in just a little bit of the jet wash, he’s fricked worse than Goose was.

Also, to echo someone above, that looks entirely higher than 4K fit. Looks more like 15-20k.

They don’t care. Looks like a standard formation to me. They treat it as one aircraft with a few caveats.
