That's not what the CEO of Oschner told the President of the United States yesterday. I have a very hard time believing any of the numbers JBE is spitting out because he has cried wolf too many times through this.

Is that after they bought 100 ventilators and received 150 more from the federal stockpile? I'd say that's an indicator that this virus is causing a shortage of some very important medical equipment

FTR, I wasn't being specific to Louisiana or new Orleans. I was just saying in general places are running out

Let's just bury this fricking country forever by shutting down for every "potential" worst case from now on. Then the toilet paper hoarders will starve and we can start over.

Just trying to understand why this one is so much more important than other health issues.

I did overstate that and should have used potentially.

Potentially, as in a .000001% chance

I am not endorsing this article about the coronavirus-19 pandemic, but it does offer a different perspective.

Per capita, Sweden, has about half the Covid-19 cases as neighboring Norway and Denmark

Sweden had a neutral position for quite a long time. Not as famously as Switzerland but he's not that far off base.

I said growth rate. You know... daily percentage increase from prior day.

White House Briefing 4-3-2020

Today my team spoke wit the CEO of Oschner Health and the CEO of LCMC, the two largest health systems in New Orleans. They said they feel that they currently have enough ventilators and masks and appreciate what we did.

Because of their approach Sweden will be interesting to watch.

per 100k population

Sweden Confirmed 60.6 Deaths 3.54
Norway Confirmed 100.0 Deaths 1.10
Denmark Confirmed 67.1 Deaths 2.48
Finland Confirmed 29.3 Deaths 0.36

Because eventually it will sweep through us all, this won’t be the point. I think Sweden is just much better prepared and can take this on without a ton of flattening.

Yes, but JBE asked for 12,000. Talk about an exaggeration.

Are you dating from date of test or randomly combing tests at release date?
