No, but I am a little more physicsy than you. So is the team that used physics to guarantee where the round would wind up after passing through the monitor.

I had the volume down. Even if they said I still think it's a risky shot unless there were absolutely no other options. Maybe there weren't any other options this was the only way. But I highly doubt that because there were about 20 dudes standing there with different angles but whatever. Besides, if there's one thing I've learned from reading this board it's that all cops are retarded. So why should we trust their judgement?

I mean, I really don't care how I look to anyone here. But I surely didn't know that I was posting in a thread with about 9 military/swat trained snipers to correct me.
I still think it was a dumb shot. Shooting through obstructructions with your rifle propped on some dude's shoulder. I'm sure he's trained to hold his breath but what if the guy sneezes or trips or any number of other unknown variables while you're trying to shoot less than a foot away from an innocent person's head?
Luckily it was like a 12 foot shot so pretty much anyone could pull it off if everything goes right.

I mean, the dude isn't Carlos hathcock or anything and he had all day to prep for it. It's an easy shot assuming your buddy doesn't sneeze and the monitor is paper thin like everyone assumes.

Sure ask the guy to come out in the open so there aren’t any barriers in the sight line. Snipers shoot through barriers all the time.

None of which had the monitor obstructing the target’s view, all of which had inferior angles for hostage risk.
Guess they should’ve just shot through a hostage instead of the kryptonite monitor. Unless the hostage is also made of kryptonite monitors. But I’ve always been told recently that there’s no guarantee where the round will end up since objects change bullet trajectory. If there was a note taped to the monitor screen, that bullet very may well have ended up in the camera man.
