Stop ducking my question, explain to me how the adrenaline rushes are different

imagine 3 of your friends were just shot dead, and others were in the crosshairs of a maniac with a high powered rifle. Well, there might just be a little bit more on the line then if you are sitting in a fricking deer stand eyeing up a deer that isnt going to harm you. A deer that, if you miss, there are no consequences.

When I killed my bull at 390 yards, I was shaking so bad it was like having a Parkinsons episode.

I understand... And I bet this wasn't your first time too..

All I was trying to say is that once the adrenaline starts flowing, does it really matter what/who you're shooting at?? The shakes are the shakes man I'm not trying to downplay what that hero did at all

I'm still curious to know if the suspect even saw the sniper and engaged him or not... People here keep saying he was getting shot at, and I'm not saying he wasn't, I'm just curious to know if he was or not

There isn't any difference that I know of.

Adrenaline is adrenaline, it depends on how you react to the situation obviously.

And obviously different situations will make you have different reactions.

Please stop. Your speculation about things you don't know is disrespectful. The suspect fully engaged the officer at the time fire was returned. It was returned from a somewhat exposed position and done so in a very quick manner after jumping from a moving vehicle. I trust you will all come out and apologize when all facts are released.
If those facts come out, sure I'll apologize.

But most snipers set up in a concealed position and the target never knows they're there.

The perp was being engaged by numerous officers, so I doubt he was zoomed in on the sniper.

Would be hard for suspect to miss a swat vehicle gunning down highway

I've honestly never seen a gun like that before.

You've clearly never had to take the walk of shame back to the camp empty handed after everyone heard you shoot

I know the stakes are higher, I get that, I'm talking about the adrenaline factor and the shakes, why is that so hard to understand?

I don't know how it went down. But I'd imagine the dude pulled up and propped his rifle up on the hood of his car and dropped the dude.

Did they confirm he is a sniper? I saw him mentioned as SWAT but I didn't catch all of the PC.

Due to the placement of the action to this rifle (keeping the barrel the same length), it actually has the same accuracy as any 556 rifle. It is used by the Israeli Defense and is better for close quarter combat, yet not losing the long range capabilities of the similar rifles.

Also, something for people on both sides of this discussion should think about: who said this guy was a sniper?

Was it a regular swat team member with a regular firearm?? You gotta remember, the media doesn't know shite about guns or police(military) tactics so they could have fricked this whole thing up lol

Not saying I'm right, but the media has been misinformed about this type of stuff before

If you admit that you don't know, than quit speculating. I assure you that you are incorrect. The small details have not been released but yet many of you downplay the heroism exhibited yesterday. The man shot from and exposed position despite rounds sticking all around him. It was truly an amazing and selfless effort on his part to act without any concern for his personal well being.

Adrenaline is adrenaline. The difference is the information coming in, the thought process, and speed to make decisions. Because of that, you cannot compare the two.

That being said, a sniper should have the ability to shut all of that off and just focus
