Despite the fact that it was a so called "easy" shot by you , the Marine with multiple tours who had the drop on the swat officer and was shooting from the same distance could NOT take him out before he got got.

He was a data network specialist, whatever that means, and it was still a 100 yard shot. I appreciate that he had the balls to roll and throw down with this frickstick and I'm as glad as anyone that he put him down. But the shot wasn't a difficult one.

Hi guys, checking back in on my little thread.
To all current & former military, drinks are on me the next time you're on my end, regardless of whether you would have made this shot or not.
To all the deer hunters & Playstation killers who are boasting about what they would have done, shut your pie holes.
Was it a hard shot? I don't know and I don't really care.
Was it a hard situation? It was about as far out of hand as things get.
This guy did what he was supposed to do, flawlessly, and saved lives in the process. I suppose his morning went from reading the newspaper while taking a dump to dispatching this mongrel in public on Airline Hwy in a very short span of time. Again, hard situation.
My OP wasn't meant to glorify his marksmanship, it was to inspire a better, more appropriate response to the savage hordes. We won't just sit around and mourn police deaths sorrowfully, we will gather and joyfully celebrate this fricking a-hole being sent to the infernal regions by this officer's expert skill and bravery.
