If you admit that you don't know, than quit speculating. I assure you that you are incorrect. The small details have not been released but yet many of you downplay the heroism exhibited yesterday. The man shot from and exposed position despite rounds sticking all around him. It was truly an amazing and selfless effort on his part to act without any concern for his personal well being.
I'm not downplaying the heroism dude, I was commenting on people acting like a trained sniper making a 100+ yard shot is an incredible feat. It's not, that's child's play for them.
If details come out that the guy was under heavy fire and exposed and made the shot, then obviously that adds a huge degree of difficulty.

Obviously a stable platform, 100yd shot is not that difficult for a well-trained marksman.
Adding the variables of doing it while rounds are striking all around, from an exposed position, before being able to set up, is much more difficult, and indeed heroic.
