Not sure why they wouldn't have a Flash Flood Watch on.
Especially with the rain potential in the coming days.

What are the chances we will see big rainfalls further east? I’m in Laffy and flooded in ‘16. I don’t think a foot of rain in twelve hours would be good...
The moisture will swing east overnight but I think it'll be moving along at least. Locations, especially south of I10, could see like 6-8" but it's not going to hang around like it did over SWLA all day.
ETA:
WPC going Moderate risk for South LA tomorrow undercuts that idea. Keep an eye as things evolve tonight because I know there's saturated soils all down there. High res models are starting to ping some high totals across all of southern Louisiana and since they did sniff out the LC rain by this morning, it seems reasonable to shift the moderate risk east.

I think every road south of 10/210 between LC and Iowa is underwater right now.

I don't live downtown by your new house anymore and have not been downtown today. I tried to get there earlier but it was too risky the route I took.

Are all these traffic cams you keep posting updating behind the scenes? I never know what I’m looking at other than a wet road

I just got a report of 3 inches of water have entered a house... neighborhood just south of Hwy 90 in Iowa.
They flooded for Delta but not Laura.

I'm glad I'm not the only one wondering what the hell the point of all those was supposed to be here.

Left Nelson but stuck in bad traffic between Iowa and Lacassine. From my drive on 210/i10, I passed those police Amtrak looking trucks full of people they rescued. There were scores of kids stranded at Lagrange because everywhere around them is under water. The rain just camped over LC today because my neighbor in Welsh said they only got a couple inches in their gauge. It’s very worrisome that more rain is on the way.

I posted the first two she wanted posted this morning. It just looked like storms to me.

For all dying to know, I just passed the Lacassine water park and they’re fine. They’ll be ready to open in July.

We can all breathe easy now.

That water park is as indestructible as it is unusable

Yeah, everyone along and especially south of I10/I12 should be aware of the flash flooding potential over the next couple of days.
All of the high-res models are picking up on at least pockets of a foot or more of rain for SELa, with all of them seeing another round of heavy precip for SWLA (though hopefully not quite as intense as today). Louisiana and East Texas are in a large scale moisture funnel with disturbances riding in and making it rain.

But seriously, the potential for a shite-ton of rain very quickly after all the recent rains is definitely concerning.

On the other side of this mess, in the Moderate Risk area, West Texas has a radar down. Not good, but at least they have plenty of coverage out that way.

And every storm chaser in America is hanging out to ride the dry line this evening.

Hope yall didn't want pizza tonight. Not sure of the location

Man, HRRR looks like a mess in Southeast Texas at the end of this run. Yikes.
