Classic right wing frick the common man response. Forgiving student loans allows all those people to spend more money pumping it back into the economy. If you’re actually worried about your money helping out people I can assure you your tax money goes to far worse stuff than this

This is insane.

You knew exactly what you were doing when you borrowed the money. It is called a loan for a reason.

Classic left wing never take any responsibility response.

Republicans don’t give a duck about education and never have, the whole power base in the Southern States depends on keeping people stupid and always have. Half the post on this site prove my point, and my family has been Southern GOP for over 100 years. Initially it was just fear of educating black people but over time we just decided that our best move was that the general population be as stupid and gullible as possible, which has served us well for 50 years or so now.

They worry about gay marriage and drag queens and stupid shite like that, while we pass laws to make sure they stay stupid and poor and line our pockets and our friends pockets with everything we can steal

Literally a clown.

Keep voting for economic crushing policies that are killing poor minorities and whites alike.

Now I’ll have to move back into my parents house. This is so wrong. I’m gonna be sick.

I was going to go on a vacation and help the economy and maybe get a dog.

This will ruin my whole weekend.

Good.

I worked very hard to pay my loans off. I made a realistic, careful decision on my field of study to maximize the value of my education spending.

Well, these college students who earned a degree in something that there is no career for can go and join the Army/Navy.

The military used to have a program where a person joined for at least 8 years Uncle Sam would pay for their college.

The left is insane and clueless, and spends money like a drunken sailor. Many of them have good hearts but most all of their problems are disasters. They are lead by intellectuals who are incredibly stupid.

The Right now is also insane and clueless, and spends money like a drunken sailor. They don’t have any ideas or programs anymore but instead propose tax cuts for the top 10% for everything advocating trickle down economics which has destroyed the middle class. They are lead by billionaires who could care less about anyone else

I used to be a player in the GOP but I am
So disgusted with all of it now I wouldn’t piss on any of them or the GD capital if it was on fire. If you put your faith on either of them to solve any problem, no matter how small you deserve what you get, which will be getting ducked without lube.

This country is long past done. We are just a bunch of spoiled idiot children with a massive army

The loan agency is the US Gov, but you knew that right?

So? Do you think they take that money and bury under the Washington monument?

As opposed to what?

Were they suddenly going to be honest about their economic failures and foreign money laundering corruption until this decision?

Corporations are not only people but they are the only thing that matters to either party. 20-30 years ago if you gave the limit to any candidate 5k a person 10k a family you got a thank you call from the campaign or something. Now you can’t even go to pancake breakfast to meet a campaign staff member for that and it’s not worth their effort as they can raise 10-100 million at one corporate event. If you were them who the frick would you care about ??????

I’ll give props to Obama for one thing, he supported citizens united, and it ultimately failed in the SC. Corporations are people apparently.

Here is a guy that never read the case.

Apparently you believe that a presidential candidate should be able to use the FCC to shut down the speech of people opposed to her.

Not all loans are that bad either. If you took out government loans there now like 4-5 income based plans to not cripple you financially. If you took out giant student loans from Discover for a shite degree you are a moron.

This was like the biggest issue Useless Joe was campaigning on and it fell flat on its fricking face. Completely shocked.

You moron Liberals get what you deserve. Not our faults you chose to go to an expensive college for a completely useless degree and can't figure a way to pay it off.

I met someone last month with 460,000 in student loans and she’s convinced most of not all of it will be forgiven

Not to mention, they usually only make you pay on them for 20 years at the most if I read that correctly.

I have 5 years left on PSLF so this decision is irrelevant to me.

Judicial personhood has been a thing since Justinian controlled the Byzantine Empire.

The Citizens United talking points from the left are absurdly ignorant.
