Supposed Family in a Hostage Situation: WWYD

Let's say family of 7 is in a hostage situation. Husband, Wife, and 5 kids. 2 are step kids. Husband is being forced to select one person to be killed in the family. Would it be unwise to select himself due to the financial obligation of supporting rest of family and kids for their duration of life. The entire family would be husband/fatherless and left to suffer financially, lose house etc.
Husband- Just got a big job, makes 150k plus a year, has zero life insurances in place.
Wife- Stay at home mommy
Child 1 Oldest- Husband's child pre marriage. 18 high school senior baseball star. Biological mom OD'd years ago.
Child 2 - Wife's daughter pre marriage. 18 and pregnant, biological dad in jail for life
Child 3- Oldest of their own made together. 13 yr old boy, plays soccer
Child 4- 6 yr old girl, loves snapchat
Child 5- 9 month old baby girl, just learned to crawl
You're the husband, you got to choose a person now or everyone dies.

You choose yourself every time if you're the husband if you know by doing so the rest will go free.

If I were the husband, I'd pick myself. I couldn't live with myself if I sacrificed a child or spouse. Stay at home mommy can figure shite out.
