Yes, I dance upon the razors edge but I was warned about mentioning the helmeted one and I haven't done that.
You're going to tell me we can't post Farks of Tarsha now? On the OT?

Man, you know how this shite has been on here about these subjects. I don't necessarily agree with the way the admins police these threads, but I don't want to give them reasons to anchor it either.

She's a corrupt public figure who tried to swindle the funds of an old woman from her great grandkids.
She deserves every bit of ridicule she gets and then some.

I agree 1000%, but it sometimes goes too far and the thread gets anchored or whacked. I'm just trying to prevent that.

This shite goes on more than people know.
I mentioned how this guy sold life insurance to families in the ghetto. Many would get them on their children. Either they would default over time, or the policy would come due, but no one in the family knew that there was money. So this Insurance guy was cashing and stealing that cash.
Remember, at this aging place many of the people can barely remember today, let alone what kind of documents they have signed over to these crooks.
Need an investigation, and find out how many of these have been signed at that Law Center you mentioned. If any checks have been signed over to this lady, a full examination of her, her dummy accounts, family accounts, etc.

He needs TCA to remain in her position because she's got an $8 million/year budget coming her way and he's going to help her use it as a political tool.

I'd bet there are literally hundreds of scams like this going on in Baton Rouge and NOLA right now

Tarsha likely has multiple going herself. Scruffy hopes this blows up in her face and it tears her down. What she did is the very definition of unethical and against the CoA's own bylaws.

Can someone provide me a very quick TLDR version of what the hell COA is and what this woman is on about?
Had WBRZ on this morning and just saw a woman taking Southern law school and COA to task. Didn't stick around to see what it was about. Something about the lady's mom passed away and someone took her house?

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Like mother...like daughter.

COA head and COA attorney brought a 95 yo woman to SU law school to rewrite her will to name the head of the COA as the executrix of her will without the family knowing.
Executrix was also written in to be paid $6000/year from the estate for the next 21 years.
Lady dies and less than 24 hrs after her death, someone calls and notifies them that they are in control of the estate.
Family removes funds from bank account.
Head of COA pissed because her money is gone.
Family goes to media.
Supporters of head of COA blindly defend her
The whole thing is racist despite the fact that both parties are black.

It doesn't make her the largest beneficiary. When the woman's properties are sold, there will be possibly $500k or more in the estate. The family is telling half truths because they understand how the story sounds when it is shaped that way.
Ask this question Kyle, why would the family remove the funds from the account without a judges permission. If they are correct in there legal standing the judge will change things.
I think Amar, intended to help carry out the woman's wishes. Planned to speak at private court and refuse the funds, which she has every right to do, but the family didn't even allow the matter to be opened in court. Probate court is where the will proceeds to be executed, at which stage the family had every right to challenge if they felt their loved ones affairs weren't handled accordingly.
What this really sounds like is some adults upset that Ms. Plummer excluded them and they want their piece of the pie.
If more facts come out that say otherwise we can readdress the issue at this point, but based on the facts I've read this is a disgruntled family upset that they aren't receiving any funds.
Had the will left all the money to the COA, or something of that nature I would be more understanding of the outrage, but she left her estate to her great grandchildren and asked someone she trusted to manage it.
Good to see Gravy and co. have decided to attack this family to protect their crony
