Venus in the West

Jupiter in the south usually near the moon

Saturn & Mars in the East

Venus

It's below the horizon now but Venus is extremely bright compared to most others.

Try these apps to help you out:

Night sky
Star gazer
Star atlas

They allow you to use your phone to point at objects and see what’s there. Also outlines constellations for you to make them easy to learn.

Venus is low in the West after sunset and Jupiter is high overhead.

That's just the glow of Hawaii melting from the volcano. The light is reflected back off the ionosphere.
