Anyone know of a place open today?
Push mower wont start and I think that the carburetor needs a clean. I've done all I know how to do.

I have no idea why lawnmower shops are only open half days Saturday and never Sunday. One would think that a count hair under 100% of people cut their grass on the weekend. I understand that commercial guy's work all week, but they shouldn't be dumb enough to not have backup equipment.

Most carburetors have a bowl on the bottom. It is held on by a bolt with a hole running through it. The hole is usually clogged with old/bad gas.
Remove the fuel line to the carb and drain the tank. Remove the bolt on the bottom of the bowl and use a heavy wire to ream it out. Once the majority is out, spray carb cleaner through it.
Re-assemble and add gas.
Hammertime, your plug and filter can be found at Tractor Supply and most auto part stores on a Sunday.

Plug probably won't be gapped correctly, and idk the specs on my mower. Plus, they definitely will not have an air filter for a push mower only sold at the Toro store. I can't even get a blade at a big box store

How do I make sure it is in fact the carburetor that's making it not start?
Is it because I took my brothers advice and put a 1/4 can of Sea Foam in it?
It started before but not now

Fingernail file and a rag on old plug, air compressor on air filter.
And most all small engine plugs are gapped for the replacement. It's a lawnmower, you aren't tuning a NASCAR.

This engine is the most picky engine I've ever dealt with as far as plug gap goes. It just runs like shite and bogs down if it is not right.
Will not be going back to Toro after this. Mower sucks, and it is the top of the line consumer model. Next thing in my yard will be a commercial walk-behind or a Ybravo 25 w/ the Kawasaki 180

I have a spot that I got some brick steps extended that is right at 36 (maybe 36.125), so something smaller would be best. Sucks, but that's what's up. A homeowner-used Ybravo 25 would run like $600 in good shape, and the same walk behind would be $1500-2500

Drain the tank into a gas can, then pour it in your brother. Seafoam has instructions on the can for mix ratio.

Most homeowner Toros have the 6.75 Tecumseh. They are gapped at .30

This sounds like awesome advice.
But I don't know what any of it means. Can you dumb it down for me?

The spark plug has a fat black wire going to it. Pull the wire off and unscrew the spark plug, If the motor is flooded the spark plug will be wet from gas. If it is wet, allow it to sit open for a while so the extra gas can evaporate.
If it is dry, put the plug back in and put the spark plug wire back on.
Remove the air filter and you will see the carburetor throat. Spray some starting fluid (Available at any auto parts place for less than $2) in the throat. Try and start the mower.
If it starts briefly, then dies, it is burning the starting fluid but is not getting any gas. This would mean your carb is plugged up.
I am not familiar with your particular carburetor so I don't know if the feed or jets are clogged up. You may be able to unscrew the jets and spray carb cleaner in them to get rid of the gunk.
Also, Seafoam is awesome but you should mix it per instructions.
