We're not doing any of month long crazy east coast versions, but damn it's nutty all the crap we have to go through.
What do you have your kids in this summer?
Why does a 12 yr old need a physical?

To cover their arse so your kid doesn't go out there and die while running around from HOCM or some other abnormality easily screened for on a physical.

Mine's at sailing camp starting today, and that'll go for a couple of weeks. Just tetanus and life vest for that one. Soccer needs a physical though, ugh.

I hear ya. Dropped mine off and after he signed in he didn't even look back and wave. This is his third year at the club camp, but damn I wanted some look, anything.

Boy Scout camp. He carries his belongings around in a 5 gallon bucket and swims in a lake every day. Good stuff.

Kids and grandkids go to a place called "Echo Ranch"
It's incredible, lasts 4-5 days. There's free range horses they catch and ride, they get to kayak, zip line, etc.

Can't imagine the waiver you sign.

It's harmless. Horses are accustomed to people. Bears are the bigger worry.

If school related, LHSAA requires it.

Mine will be making his third trip there in a few weeks. He loves it.
Doing a baseball camp. Basketball camp. School enrichment camp. Vacation one week. Short trip with his grand parents one week.
Little shite has it way better than I did as a kid.
