I feel the same way when we call Border Patrol Agents and Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents “federal LEOs”.
True Federal LEO, such as the FBI/ATF/DEA, are expected to enforce US law on American citizens. They go through expansive training before being allowed to do so.
These border patrol clowns don’t belong in Chicago, Minneapolis, Portland, etc. and they sure as frick aren’t supposed to me meting out law enforcement on American citizens. It’s simply not in their jurisdiction or in their charter to do so.

This woman and her wife continue to be annoying as hell, but watched it several times and trying to be objective as possible.
If you start at 38 seconds, she backs up, stops, and then visibly begins turning the wheel hard to her right when he's lined up directly over the far left side of her grill / left headlight. Watch her hands and the relative position of the car.
If she was trying to ram the officer, she would have had to be turning to her left when he was at her 11 o'clock, not the right.
She ended up ultimately clipping him, but it's pretty obvious from this perspective that she is trying to flee around him, even in real time.

Sorry maam, that's not how that works. She just attempted murder on a federal law enforcement officer with a car. She's leaving the scene of the crime with the weapon and there's no way to know she's not going to run over somebody else. Same as if she had a gun and shot at him and ran.

The cell phone video doesn't help her at all, IMO.
I've always doubted she was actually trying to hit him (although I think that's far from certain considering how psychotic the "wife" sounds on the video). But even if this bolsters the idea she wasn't, it's pretty obvious she's ignoring commands and clips the guy. He has no idea what she's trying to do.

It's just amazing to be so wrong with so much confidence. ICE ERO guys are not "border patrol clowns." They're doing what they're supposed to do, and amazingly, when American citizens don't try to block their completely-appropriate and authorized activities in public spaces and drive their vehicles into them, they don't have to shoot Americans.

Yeah agreed, from the longer videos I've seen, she's always ignored the "get out of the car" commands. I never heard any officer tell her to leave which was what was being reported in some cases.
