I've been to some with foam sticks, tambourines that light up, headbands, etc.
Fiancée and I brainstorming for what we should have at ours. Any ideas?

Was the reception at Chucky Cheeze?

Don’t do anything gimmicky and put it towards your honeymoon.

All conversations should lead down the road of "exit now, scenic bypass or alternate route."
Ever heard the saying of "quit while you are ahead?" It exists because it is true.

Buy disposable cameras for everyone. Let them take photos. Collect the cameras after the reception and use the photos to document your special night.

Sounds like a massive waste of money.
Focus on having good music, good food, and good alcohol and everyone will be happy.

If you do this, be prepared to come across a few dick pics.

Photobooths seem to be pretty popular at receptions.
Can easily set up your own. Friends of ours did that. Bought a Polaroid camera so that people could take pics of each other in front of the backdrop they made. Bride and groom just asked that people take two shots...they keep one and give the other to the couple for their wedding album. Bought a couple of cheap props for people to use.

This is a great idea. Just put the tits, arse, and dick pics in a special box for private use for you and your wife.

I think that may be a little too sophisticated for the OP.

Nah, about 1/3 of the way through the band's set, our wedding planner brought out all kinds of neon glasses, blow up guitars, all kinds of different hats, etc. Everyone loved them and it really amped up.
Probably a combination of those and a ridiculous band, but it was fun as hell.

Smartest move I’ve seen a couple make was have a cheap modest wedding and their parents gave them the $35,000 that they were going to spend for wedding was used as down payment for first home.

shite if I took the money spent, we could've put like 50% down.
My MIL went off and gave us the perfect wedding. It was ridiculous and I wouldn't trade that night of fun for anything. It was insane.
