There has been research on masks, man. Stanford most recently had one that I saw in my email recently. There have been dozens around the world.
And again, Fauci said as much at the time because he did not understand that the virus could be spread when one did not show symptoms. The quote without context doesn’t tell the entire story.
But sure, they lied intentionally, knowing it would kill people with their lies.

Everyone has a right to be out in public, even the sick. Would it be courteous for them to stay home? Sure. But if you are scared of getting sick you really shouldn't leave your house.

I’m saying I’m not buying that he knew it was going to spread even from asymptomatic people, and still told people not to wear masks. That is not me defending him. That is me looking at the bigger picture, with context, and hindsight.

We had a local FCA High School baseball league with six teams playing two games per week. One of the players tested positive last week. They shut the entire league down. Did you catch any of those games BG?

Correct but also, asymptomatic is virtually impossible to actually diagnose. Mild symptoms can be very mild. And asymptomatic can also be pre-symptomatic

Both arguments equal the same conclusion.
The only difference is that now many of you who have convinced yourselves he was being malicious are using that line of thinking to throw anything else he says out of the window, such as the effectiveness of wearing a mask.

One would think if Fauci bold face lied to the public, he would have been removed by now.
It would be malpractice of all malpractices. Criminal, maybe. Akin to a physician knowing good and well someone was HIV positive, yet told them they were negative and should be having as much unprotected sex as possible.
There’s always some malicious intent with these goddamn people. Never can it just be that a mistake was made (Which is bad enough in its own right)

I'm more focused on how it spreads to other people. And from what I've read, it's more likely through breathing in droplets than from surfaces. But you're right, both matter...don't stop washing your hands!
