A coyote probably ate it.

Cats die with collars on. They'll end up hung somewhere.

We do hear them howling at night around 10pm. That’s what we suspect.

My ex SIL's cat was missing for 2 years. It had a collar. Anyway, right before they were getting ready to move back to Louisiana, someone called them and said they found her cat.

Someone had to be feeding it all that time... or it found a good place to eat someone else's pet food.

Reminds me of when George Costanza dated that animal lover and he hit a squirrel with his car.

He took the squirrel to the vet and payed for it to be there a week. They did surgery but first they had to import special surgical tools from Switzerland. He then had to take the squirrel home.

And by Baytown you mean the West Coast.

Side note: I wouldn’t mind living in a trailer home. I’m a minimalist and a trailer by the ocean is enough for me. Trappings of the modern life say otherwise unfortunately.

Cats will do that. He may come back but he may have also found a new home and/or has no idea how to get back to your place. He also may have been eaten but I promise he didn’t go out without a fight (if he still has claws.)

Cats are wild and instinctual. Hope for the best but prepare your kids to never see him again.

Believe me, I hoped it died or ran away before we moved because I knew it would be co$tly to bring it.

We had a cat that disappeared. Four months later, he showed back up and stayed for the rest of his life.

We've always wondered what story that cat would tell.

Glad your story worked out.

We went from a British cat to now a Mexican cat. So far this little runt doesn’t have proper manners.

Yeah we’re gonna need to see what a one eyed Mexican kitten looks like.
