How could they be on the spectrum if they’ve never been exposed to the aluminum in deodorant

WTF

This now moves to #1 on my list of things I don’t understand about younger generations.

This blowing my mind.

I work a desk job and keep a stick in my desk since accidentally forgetting to put on deodorant is high on my list of fears. I can’t even fathom intentionally not wearing any

We had to move tables during lunch Saturday because the smelly drug head hippie wasn't wearing deodorant and smelled like he hasn't bathed in a few days. He was also wearing a tank top to make sure everyone got a sniff of his ambience.

I have definitely noticed this with the younger workforce.

I hired an 18 or 19 year old guy a few weeks back that, on his first day, I could smell from 20' away. I mean that literally, I could smell him from 20' away.

I wear it and I now sit indoors all day in the new gig. It's a lot to ask though...having to lift my arm and press up and down for 2 seconds on each arm...fricking nightmare I say!

Since I went Vegan, no need to wear deodorant, my sweat smells of tropical flora.

Is so dumb.

Ween yourself off of that aluminum based crap and you'll be better for it. Deodorant is all you need and you won't contribute to your future Alzheimers.

I know some women are reluctant to wear it because the aluminum in the deodorant can cause breast cancer.

That is just antiperspirant.

Which does nothing for smell. It literally plugs your pores with aluminum and then stains your shirts yellow.

Pitting is a serious condition. I am not going to have dark circles every time I raise an arm to point something out in a presentation or meeting.

I didn't give my kid her vaccines because it promotes autism.

the measles are thankful for the new fear of vaccinations...the same crew thinks aluminum gives em Alzheimers.

Have they been to La? If aluminum gave you Alzheimers there would not be a 40 year old that could tell you their address.

I pitted more with antiperspirant than I do with just deodorant.

There was a period where that wasn't true, like 2-3 weeks, but its crazy how little sweat comes through now. The antiperspirant makes the sweat circles worse by sticking to your shirt then absorbing moisture and body oil. It keeps those circles there for much longer.

It is also the primary reason for stains under arm pits.

I'm not some "natural" everything psycho.

I am saying the aluminum thing as a half joke, but I was told that there is a link to aluminum in the brain and Alzheimers by a former PCP of mine. Not much is absorbed via the arm pits if you don't shave them (open wounds), but it is still interesting.

What I can tell you is that my pits and shirts are in far better condition though since stopping. I use regular old spice deodorant (no AP) and its so much better.

You don't have to believe me, but its true. If I do sweat, it dries right away and it doesn't stain. It is night and day difference.

ETA:

Antiperspirant does basically nothing to eliminate smell/odor. It is there just to clog your sweat ducts. Sweat ducts still find a way to release their fluid though. And what comes out is a lot worse.

Same. Made the switch to plain deodorant with no parabins. Pits feel better/healthier, shirts aren’t caked with that nasty crusty aluminum shite, ruined clothing, etc.

thats beyond nasty

but if you sleep all day and never leave the house to break a sweat or be around other human beings then there is a chance you can go around smelling like road kill and not know it.

but how the frick can mom and dad not smell them and say something? because none of them have jobs, or a car, or a life, or friends
