The school admin supported the kid which is what really matters.
Teachers have had a hard time grasping that virtual classrooms aren't the exact same thing as in-person classrooms. Unless the kid shows up nude, you can't dictate uniform policy and etc. Had to put one in her place the other day that was bitching about the kid using the option to blur his background and another that chose to keep her camera off because she lives in a shite hole. Are they engaging with the class? Yes? Then who gives a frick. It's not really your business what's going on in their home unless they report to you an abusive situation that you're obligated to report.
