Such a wonderful aspect of our culture. Make it a social point that you need college education to be successful, make the guidance as vague as possible, implement compound loans on children who have no idea what theyre doing, criticize those who didnt follow through or chose the wrong major with an uppity attitude while guided by family who knows better.
What a wonderful sctructure to debt slave dumb kids right outta the gate. Yeah its fun to make fun of libtarded fatherless women who took on female studies as a major, but a lot more kids were given dogshit guidence into adulthood and end up taking idiotic loans into jobs that dont have openings except for the absolute elite.
Instead of "you need to go to college to succeed," being a literal cultural motto, how about telling those kids you need to go into the med field, engineering, BUSINESS, or comp tech. Im 35, im doing fine, but i promise you those my age were insanely misguided.
Edit: Didnt take long for a loser to downvote but not have the balls to tell me why im wrong. Forum full of cowards. Tell me why im wrong kiddo.

This will help with midterms! Genius!
It’s only the dumb, liberal graduates, with shite degrees, that thought they wouldn’t have to pay their loan back. I don’t think really it hurts Republicans like you think it is. It may help because I know plenty of independent voters who thought Biden’s student loan forgiveness was complete bullshite.

Good.
I paid mine. Lay off the Starbucks and pay your bills.

Sounds like you were forced to "suck it up"

Can’t garnish a paycheck if there is no paycheck.

You are correct. Its a pile of word salad pretty much saying the government hustled dumb people into a bad loan.
When does accountability start?
Next month hopefully. Im sure there will be protests

You realize private lenders don’t make student loans?
Yes they do

Student loans are 100% tax dollars.
No they aren’t

Student loans are federal.
You couldn’t have been more wrong with this post

Hell yes ! I have heard that one of the billboard "lawyers" in Baton Rouge used a huge PPP "loan" to pay off his beach house in Destin.

Just use a Buy Now, Pay Later app and kite the system until you’re 90. Problem solved!

The heads of all of the major banks disagree with you while under oath.
Don’t fret though. Mad Maxine was the leader of the finance committee and she was as wrong as you.
Of the nearly 2 trillion in loan debt is private vs federal? Of the private balance that is left, when were those loans taken out?

You realize “federal” is the opposite of “private”.

There are private and federally subsidized student loans. You mentioned the state getting paid back, you were wrong. That’s ok, just shut up and move on instead of making yourself look like a real dumbass

Those people didnt choose to close their businesses. Govt forced them to.
Yeah, all those big law firms in New Orleans and across the state got PPP loans and never closed. They just shunted their payroll off on the gubmint and the partners kept the overage as bonuses. If you had a banker, you got a PPP loan. The small businesses that actually closed didn’t have bankers so they got screwed.
