fat fricks and shitty genetics galore the south.

Along with exponentially more attractive women. How is this even up for discussion?

Honestly, this board gives me a better impression of Louisiana than I would otherwise have—lots of smart open-minded people, smart closed-minded people, smart rednecks, dumb rednecks, all getting along. But I'm guessing this board isn't representative of the state as a whole.

As for the reason southern states are in the bottom five, I think it comes down to a combination of education and religion.

Regarding the women, my two favorite girlfriends have been a redhead from Atlanta and a blond from Jacksonville. Southern women may or may not be hotter than other women, but I find them a lot more likeable than women from the coasts.

Eh my experiences in places like Los Angeles, NYC, Chicago etc is that the ratio of attractive women to not attractive women is essentially the same between those places and places like Birmingham in the South. The difference is if you sit in one place in NYC, the view is constantly changing so you're going to see more attractive women because there are MORE women walking by.

I mean, if you figure 10% of the people who pass by you are going to be attractive, then no shite you'll see more attractive people in a city with a million than in a city with 100k.

1. New Hampshire
2. Minnesota
3. Vermont
4. Utah
5. Massachusetts

Bottom 5:
Alabama
Tennessee
Arkansas
Louisiana
Mississippi

Consider the source: left leaning Politco. 4 of the top 5 are Democratic run, high-tax, high spend states-one even has a socialist Senator. Bottom five are Southern, conservative leaning states. This is a liberal hatchet job.

The ratio of fat to fit is more what im getting at. Good looking women are all over but the women overall are fitter on the east or west coast than in the south.

"Politico Magazine rounded up 14 different state rankings from reputable sources like the Census Bureau, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the FBI, and on important factors such as high school graduation rates, per capita income, life expectancy and crime rate. Then we averaged out each state’s 14 rankings to come up with a master list."

Yeah, a lot of bias there

The top 5 states on that list aren't perfect, but the South is a shithole in a lot of ways. If I didn't have family and business reasons to stay, I'd strongly consider moving somewhere with a more progressive outlook.

I'd like to think I'm one of these.

Maybe that's part of the problem?

No. The author was just too gutless to address the obvious. But the courageous posters of the OT have no such reservations.
