I never complained about children in church, just the strollers

Imagine complaining about strollers in church and saying that makes society soft

Nice try I didn't judge I wanted to know when it started you know what there's no use in arguing with a fool lest ye become one

It's the rest of you that turned it into being about kids. Look at the title of the topics, ye tolerant souls. I'm imagining a sea of four wheeling strollers that block aisles, make it hard for old people to get around, etc. But don't let me put words in your mouth.

How about not bringing babies to church? I only attend church for special events, but it seems like every time I go someone has a baby that they let keep crying.

The things people bitch about is astounding.

I was in mass one time when the priest asked the parents to take their baby outside. They were letting the baby scream their lungs out. I don't know if they were trying to hold the kid or do anything, but the priest stopped a few times and clearly getting annoyed. If a baby gets like that one of the parents usually takes the child outside... But this particular time, evidently the parents didn't care at all..

Our church doesn't have a cry room so you hear the babies in mass. As long as they aren't screaming excessively, who cares. If they're really getting loud you can take them outside for a little bit. But a church is a place for children.

“Old man bitches about people doing normal things in society”
Damn man, at least they are attending mass.
Now go say 5 Hail Mary’s and one Our Father for your judgmental ways.

We brought our little one in a Doona every Sunday until she outgrew it.
I literally could not care less what OP thinks of this. We’re doing our best to raise our little one in faith.

This stuff isn't new.
People were bitching about the same thing 20 years ago, and now find themselves in their 50s in dying churches.

If you don’t hear crying, that church is dying

Something tells me with the amount of downvotes in the responses to this thread, OP was expecting a different reaction
