Working in the medical field, I've seen many deaths... The weird thing is, many of them have moments of clarity before death.. It's strange and any doctor I've spoken to about it has no explanation for it...

Death is the scariest thing to me. As someone that likes having everything planned out, the uncontrollable scares me. That and I really like my life and don't want it to end.

I guess the question to ask is, is there ever any people who don't believe in God who see God or angels or whatever and have similar interesting stories just before death?

No, the question to ask is, are there people who have never heard of the Christian God that have similar interesting stories just before death.

I hope there is an afterlife because there is someone I want nothing more than to say "I'm sorry" to. I won't ever get the chance in this dimension and probably never will, and it will eat at me forever.

believe humans do have an adrenaline release just before a natural death that can cause lucidity in an otherwise doped out person. The dog could probably sense / smell that.
My understanding your brain also dumps all the dopamine at the very, very end.

My in-laws are all holy rollers. My fil came over to tell us he had bladder cancer (very small tumor or polyp or whatever in early stages). Tells us how he has been "taking the Lord's supper" for the past week so he's confident it will be gone when he goes in for surgery. Tells another story about a friend whose son was killed in an accident. The parents went to see him at the morgue, and he had allegedly been there dead for over 4 hours. They prayed over him and he sat up and was fine. Married with kids now. Of course, he believes this friend's story. Went in for surgery a couple weeks ago and they apparently got the whole thing when they did the biopsy. Just cleaned out a little deeper into the surrounding tissue to be safe. Of course, the Lord will get all the credit and the doctor none.

My German shepherd barked into a closet every night around midnight, 1am. There was access to a small crawl space in the closet where the guy who built the place s few years earlier had passed away.

There are secluded tribes in South America that worship insects and trees, that have people, in the moments before their deaths, call out to Jesus Christ by name?

I've heard many stories like this about church members who died. They would be about ready to die and haven't hardly been responsive at all, then they smile and stick their arms up toward the ceiling and die.
No one can tell me 80 and 90 year olds are faking it. They are getting taken home with the Lord

No one can tell you that.. because your brain has been shut off from the alternative. No one said they were faking anything.

There is no confessor like unto Death!
Thou canst not see him, but he is near:
Thou needest not whisper above thy breath,
And he will hear;
He will answer the questions,
The vague surmises and suggestions,
That fill thy soul with doubt and fear.

When my wife was under hospice care she was on morphine. That shite will make you hallucinate big time. At the end she was in a coma and her body was swelling from the cancer she had what they call the death rattle. Shortly thereafter she passed away and immediately her swelling disappeared. But she had a peaceful death.

I can personally guarantee it's not. The witness was a daughter of hers, why would she make up this story? With two other people to vouch... Not to mention, my interpretation as well as theirs wasn't a positive one.

I was in the rooms of both my grandmother, and one of my aunts in their last hours. I saw both in their last hours sit up in bed, and reach for something or someone. Both spoke as they reached out, but what was being said was not clear to me.
