Lots of branches and roof damage. My oaks are buck arse naked. I’m just getting phone service back so haven’t looked at the Facebook yet. Norms has damage, SURPRISE!

We took some fricking wind, baws, frick. But no notable damage here.

Definitely crazy. Everyone I've heard from in the area says it's really bad.

How has the storm surge been?

I live in Florida, but have a ton of friends and family who live in Metairie, LaPlace, and New Orleans.

I know high tide was around 1pm today over there.

Hopefully everything is holding up well.

Son of a frick, the NE side of the eyewall would basically go right through my house on that trajectory.

I'm glad I left, but lord I'm scared for my neighbors and what I may come back home to. This is the worst, frick. Everyone who stayed put, you're all in my thoughts and prayers

We were in The Pass for Claudette and they were non-stop, so I can't even imagine the frequency for Ida.

No. But sounds like a good time. We’re in the back of the neighborhood backed up to the river. Had a tree fall down in our driveway and eerily watching the ones in the swamp

When you say roof damage, you talking shingles? Sheathing? Holes? Some roofs? Most roofs? All roofs?

Can someone give me a quick Nola update? In Metairie right now but haven’t had cell service since 2. Sounds like SWB is fricked? If the whole city doesn’t have plumbing it could get ugly fast. Gonna try to get out of town on Monday or Tuesday.
