I hate stupid people. Like passionately. This is why all posters on social media should be licensed and have to pass a basic IQ test before earning that license.

Dear Sara Bear: frick off and stop breathing our air.

With NHC 987mb for 18z both the 12z HWRF & HMON are too weak at 18z. Ida is busting the models in just 6 hrs, they'll have to play catch up.

I don't know what this means but it doesn't sound good.

Besides the tip of Cuba, there isn't much to suggest Ida will do anything but strengthen at this point. Path over the gulf will be over the warmest possible waters and the shear set up is very favorable (unfavorable for humans). shite.

Levi at TropicalTidbits is the Ben Shapiro of hurricane analysis. I don't understand most of what he's talking about, but I believe him anyway.

Is it expected to still have widespread hurricane force winds on the western side? Wondering what I can expect in AP if she ends up passing between AP and NOLA.

I'm not an expert, but I don't think there is supposed to be a huge storm surge so I'd imagine Biloxi is fine

How long do pools stay relatively clear without power going to the pump? Hoping my kids can swim through the heat on Tuesday.

I love how people have no problem swimming in a lake or river but God forbid a pool have a touch of algae in it
