from my unprofessional observation, the elongated low level circulation of TD9 seems to be steadily tightening toward the northern end with the strong mid level circulation

Jindal was at his best doing hurricane press conferences. Guy certainly has a head for numbers.

Jindal was an idiot. Droning on and on about how many this and how many that. Life is not a spreadsheet dumbfrick. That kind of shite is for bean counters and not a leader. Jindal was no leader.

Jindal was a failure overall as governor, but you can't deny that he absolutely had his shite together when it came to hurricanes approaching the LA coast. Things went about as well as they could when he was running things....although I guess anything would have looked good compared to the Blanco clown show.

He was a boss when it came to disasters. He would give briefings and (off the top of his head) give out every state resource statistic you could ever dream of. He knew what was where and how to make it work. It would go over everyone’s head but when there is something you have no control over (like a disaster), it was reassuring knowing someone knew what the hell was going on. Or at least acted like it…

All he did at the press conferences was overwhelm the media by reading lists of what specific preparations were being made. We don't really need to know how much ice was being held in advance to give to people without power.

It provided comfort that the govt had control of the controllables

Now compare that to Afghanistan right now.

Sorry your pea brain couldn't comprehend information. You should probably hang out with those media types who couldn't handle it either.

We'll send you a picture book next time.

Yes.

Recon plane is in there now too, so at least a first pass location should be in the update too.
