After being patient through this whole thing. I just wanna say one thing. People need to get an education on how to pump gas. Too much farting around at the pump.

Update on my situation:
Got the elderly out to Florida and then they’re gonna be brought back somewhere in Louisiana (not SELA).
Getting tarps on today to cover the massive gaping holes. Everyone’s been having it pretty rough and I’ve been strong for my family when they’ve had emotional moments. I got all my emotions out during the storm when the massive regret of not evacuating hit.
In a way I’m glad we didn’t leave because we were able to remediate the rain leakage and pull out all of the ruined flooring. Drywall will be next. A lot of memories in objects in the attic were lost but all family is alive and well.
Well-stocked on food and water. Just need gasoline. Hoping to get some today.
Thank you so much for all of your wishes and advice. It’s going to be a long process but we’re taking every small victory we can get. Excited to listen to my tigers whip some UCLA candy arse on Saturday

What actual “individual assistance” is FEMA offering? Anyone with homeowners or renters insurance is getting insta-denned. They keep stressing to register for individual assistance yet I don’t know of a single person who wasn’t denied.

We are ok. At step sons house with puppies . He has a generator. Just mentally exhausted. Im lucky to be alive. Mrs PJ is gonna give Owlie information later today. You guys are the best!!!!!!

By law, if you have a weatherman's license, you should have to submit the final hurricane path overlaid with your first cone. If the path leaves your cone you lose your license for one year.
