The only thing we know for certain at this time is that the Panhandle is safe.

On page 13 you were getting ready for it to hit Louisiana. Last line...

I'm over this storm. It's a kitty cat that is having trouble even purring. It's gonna take all its got to maybe get to a cat 2 best case now. I just don't know if I can head to gulf shores state park on Thursday night

No guarantee that ridge will push far enough to shield Louisiana...

I mean, that would be fantastic if it does but it's still wait and see.

Something bad here means that if it gets into the gulf it could intensify....

yeah they're in now

but when you posted they were still north of it. I expect they'll find the strongest winds to east, but the strength of the winds doesn't really matter as they're just looking to see how vertically stacked it is and if the circulation is closed all the way up

Hmmm, either there is no semblance of a circulation or has it rotated under the deep convection?
