humidity doesn't tell the full story. need to look at dew point as well.
55% humidity with a 78 dew point is going to feel quite miserable.

When the humidity is low temperatures rise during the summer. When it’s humid temperatures normally stay below 100, but indexes are high. There not a cloud in the sky here and wind is blowing out of the NW.
