Now that Matthew is out of GTMO radar range, I think this is the best we have until he gets within range of Miami.

They haven't made a decision about the game this week, clearly they haven't looked ahead to October 15th yet

Yeah, I don't know why there isn't a good radar site in the Bahamas.

My main concern for this is a planned trip to Cat Island on October 21. I was hopeful when the track moved to the west, but now this loop is giving me shite.

Central Florida (Orlando update). It is complete mayhem here today. Gas stations are jam packed with people topping off and filling gas cans. Home Depot is insane and grocery stores are getting really hit.

Central Florida schools have closed for the rest of the week and UCF has cancelled their football game. Those jackasses at UF still haven't made a decision.

I haven't seen people taking a Hurricane this seriously in a long time.

On a personal note, my damned Generac Generator won't start. I messed with all morning and it is obviously gummed up in the carb. I', screwed if we lose power for a long time. We have a 90 year old granny to worry about. I bought a window unit A/C to keep an area cool for her. No Bueno on that plan.

12z Euro seems to have picked up the pace from the 12z run yesterday.

Today @ 72 hours:

Yesterday @ 96 hours (same time as frame above):

From what I understand about the steering a slight faster storm doesn't lend as much credence to a full loop, but we'll see...

Just to make sure I'm seeing that right, 12z Euro has it making landfall in SC?

My parents are passing through right now on their way to my place in St. Pete. Hoping for a little traffic so I can clean the bachelor pad before they get here

That's where they live. Should make landfall north of them shouldn't it?
