We also have TS Nicole in the Atlantic now too
You see that Matthew? There's a chick named Nicole in the Atlantic looking for a good time. Why don't you go out there to meet her?
Sorry Bermuda.

I know Haiti is pretty much 3rd World, but have there been any reports from there since the eye has passed?

Are you Mil?
Do you guys live on base there or off?
Have heard more and more of people getting assignments there and find it so interesting
Lady I work with now has a husband who is a coastie that will be heading out there shortly

So looks like this thing will have moved on from Gainsville by game time on Saturday, but could the game still take place there? Or are we looking at a cancellation or a move to Sunday?
The game will probably be at Tiger Stadium on Saturday.

Looks like Gainesville will be receiving tropical storm winds on Friday morning. If this holds up, I can see them just moving the game to Saturday night and keeping it there. LSU may prep like the game is moved for a worst case scenario type situation but I remember LSU hosting North Texas in 2008 on a Saturday night after tropical storm winds on a Friday night. Of course, a lot can still change in the next couple of days

ETA: Didn't realize you were talking about keeping game in Gainesville. It will be in BR IMO

Can someone smarter than me confirm that I'm reading these wind probabilities correctly?
I've always thought it was strange how later in the run they have low probabilities of TS/Hurricane winds listed, even though there is likely a high expectation among forecasters that those areas will ultimately receive TS/Hurricane level winds. I assume it's just because of the uncertainty of the later stages of the forecast, but it's always struck me as likely to mislead people who catch pieces of news as a storm comes in. Especially because it lists percentage chances through a date later in the forecast.

well good thing is if we play in FL, our punter might average 50 yards a punt for only half the game

Sorry Bermuda.
Nicole, like most women, has no clue what she wants to do and apparently will throw a hissy fit and just sit there for a week.

That's not going to happen. It will be at Tiger Stadium.

Well the problem is that as you move out the percentages aren't going to add up to 100%. I mean there is probably a significant probability that the storm falls apart completely 3+ days out, at least relative to the chances of hurricane force winds within 10 miles of a location.

GTMO is the Navy's best kept secret. I would give my right arm to live there again.

A couple live webcams in the Bahamas:
Was looking for a Castaway Cay webcam if anyone comes across one...please post.
FYI, the Elbow Cay cam has more ominous skies at the moment.
Treasure Cay

There are plenty more Caribbean webcams on the pages above.

Other than my being confused I am not sure how my edit ended up being a 2nd post.
