I hope Jeannie and Captain Nelson make it through Matthew OK.

Not that it really matters but he was Major Nelson. Everyone beyond Jeannie was a bit part though.

Any word from the guys on the right coast? Here, in Poke county, we are calm and drizzling with occasional small gusts.

It matters even less that he was promoted after the pilot episode, which I only know because I wandered into a behind the scenes Jeannie show on youtube a week or two ago that I watched because Barbara Eden was so hot.

didn't realize how much it ripped off Bewitched

I didn't think it would happen, but it looks like the the streak of no major hurricane landfalls in the US may just stay alive.

Tampa's Fox news weather guy just said the Cape just got a 100 mph gust with another on the way.

I still don't know about any gas issues in Orlando, Kissimmee, etc. If any of you guys out there get in a bind I will bring you some.

Tampa guy says the outer wall touched the cape. Orlando guys are saying a high wind warning was just issued for the cape and Titusville, etc. (duh)

ETA: Colonial town in Orlando is starting to have trees down.

In Sanford and still have power. Hasn't been bad at all here really.

Yes, the outer wall probably did touch the cape, but the center has not come on shore there.

All of the Disney hotels have big generators and contingency plans to feed their patrons. The parks will be open tomorrow.

I didn't know there was such a place. Is this above ground? I spent 18 years amongst the degenerates. I'm from the south side of Lakeland. Was lucky to make it out with all of my teeth and most of my limbs.

I'm in Orlando and I think I slept through the worst of it? Or it's about to happen? Unsure.
