The vitriol and downvotes for this post are surprising. I just stated a fact that the families asked for it not to be released after they were allowed to read it (which is a fact) and that I can understand the family not wanting to release this hatred into the world. They're all very devout Christians that are just trying to heal.
I have no opinion on whether this should be released to the public. This chick was an evil psycho that did not live in reality.
I know a few families in the Covenant community (none were related to victims). Really just unimaginable.

Problem is balancing the wishes of the families with the public need.
This absolutely sucks for the families but knowing exactly how deranged this person was and why they chose who they did serves a major public need.

The perp was a radicalized transgender man who had some major self-hate issues and couldn't control her emotions with the drugs and psych issues that were apparent. She had no known connection to that school since she was 10 years old. She either broke up with or lost a romantic partner a few months before. She just wanted to target innocent, defenseless people that she stereotyped and profiled.

This kind of event is scary. It's the reason schools need to have very strict security protocols now. You never know when some lunatic shows up with a rifle and an axe to grind.

Assuming that is real (and it appears to be), I have no idea why the government went to such lengths to keep it secret.
There isn't anything radical in there besides the ramblings of an insane person.
I thought it was going to be some Pro-Democrat, Anti-Trump manifesto or something.

Despite that this person ran into people that wanted to politicize and affirm her mental illness instead of treating it.....the decision to kill innocent people ultimately rests with her. She allowed herself to be radicalized and targeted kids.
