First time I saw this guy on TV I told the wife he wouldn't have a long life. He was good, but took a lot of chances with some very dangerous animals.
To think it was something like a big ray that got him is ironic. I thought for sure it would have been a croc or one of Oz's many poisonous snakes.

Stingray barbs are like 10 inches long and basically serrated. They are an extremely passive animal but can frick you up if they want.

Does anyone remember an episode where he chooses to stay awake during his knee surgery and film it for an episode? I swear I saw that once but haven't been able to find it anywhere.
