Agreed. Looking at the card, there's just no way he messes this up unintentionally. This guy has been a talk show host, host of Family Feud, etc. Pretty damn sure he knows how to read a simple card that's impossible to mess up.

My wife was watching it upstairs while I was downstairs just flipping between the Sunday Night game and anything else. She comes running down the stairs. You have to see this. Steve Harvey won't be hosting the the Miss Universe ever again.
I was howling. But he admitted to the mistake. Said something like all my fault. I read it wrong. Don't take it out on the girls. Very classy way to handle the mistake. He has made some statements about race in the past that have made me

Whether this was staged (highly doubt) or it was just a bad mess up, Harvey is a much better person than the majority of entertainers out there. Look at all of the scum who are on your TV day and night. Harvey is a legitimate good guy.

the "mistake" is international news that gets millions of people talking about a miss universe pageant.
this was done on purpose and it's really great marketing. whoever thought of this just got a big pat on the back.
