Thor opened at 425kg and it looked like nothing.
Hooper pulled 400 and got it, but the difference between the two was clear.
No world records have been set to this point in these "games".

Yeah his last training Thor pulled 400 kilograms (880 pounds) like it was 135

That 485 he pulled in his last "heavy" session was a little slow. Looked more like a technique issue.
475 looked pretty good on his second pull tonight. Mitch was gifted his rep on 440, lockout was soft as shite. He looked half dead after it.

Have none of these guys heard of Ronnie Coleman? That's how they're all going to be in a few years.

It took years of ignoring bad, bad back injuries for Ronnie to get where he is. Neither one of these guys is stupid enough to continue lifting heavy with a literal blown disc.

A lot of Ronnie's damage occured well before he ever started lifting heavy.

Why is he a pos?
I don’t know enough to make that conclusion

Mitchell Hooper is an amazing Strongman and just a freak athlete all the way around. There is no denying that.
His personal life and the way he approaches seemingly everything else is a mess. To start with he is a complete hypocrite. He shite all over another Strongman athlete when it came out that the guy cheated on his wife and was just generally a shitty person in that regard. Mitch perched himself upon the moral high ground and flung shite at the guy. Well, a while later it came out that Mitch cheated on his own wife by carrying on an affair with her best friend and maid of honor who worked as an assistant for them. His wife was pregnant with their second child and was taking care of the first while he was running all over the world keeping up appearances for his YouTube channel and such.
Even prior to that, back when Mitch first came onto the scene, he ruffled a lot of feathers by pimping a known MLM scam to his "followers". It seems he's sold his soul to the algorithm and there is not a single aspect of his personality that he won't sacrifice to it. If you want, you can pay him anywhere from $2,500 to $10k for him to be your "life coach" so you, too, can learn to "Lift Heavy and be Kind".
TLDR version: He's just a hypocritical twat who rubs many people the wrong way, but he is strong as hell.
ETA: I realize all of that reads like gossipy nonsense, but the guy really is the worst of what the internet can create in regards to chasing whatever the algorithm wants and having no real foundation as a human.

I would love to see someone get hurt then come back and win. All I would want to know is his recipe…
