I don't know about anybody else but I'm just glad CNN and Fox had wall to wall national coverage of the DOJ decision since they helped bring it to this point by fanning the flames...oh wait, what's that CNN? Oh, Mike Pence is trying to get yes votes for healthcare...oh ok cool, let me see if Fox is covering it...oh, what's that Fox? Comey is being questioned on Capitol Hill...that's dynamite. Looks like they got their outrage ratings last summer and have moved on to other things
I guess this is why Rush calls them the Drive-By Media

Who said they herd that?
The US attorney said that the officer put a gun to Sterling's head toward the beginning of the altercation. Sterling's lawyers said that they were told that he also said "I'll kill you, bitch" in that moment when the gun was put to his head.
This obviously wasn't captured on any of the video available, but was probably on the body cam video recovered and store surveillance video.

White was a bozo candidate, but if you've ever had any interactions with SWB it's easy to see she is nothing more than a racist with a polished veneer.
In a parish were there are nearly 60K more registered Democrats, she won by 4,000 votes. Maybe next time Republicans (and other right leaning Independents) will get off their arse and go to the polls. You may not like your party's candidate, and that's completely ok and understandable.
I think the flood's role in the outcome of that election can't be discounted. A lot of people were still displaced and/or dealing with getting their lives back together at the time of the election, and it mainly affected the Republican heavy areas (Central & SE BR).

Now, if he just walked up to Sterling and said this
This is what the lawyer claims the DOJ told him.
Cop shows up, walks up to Alton, takes his gun out n shoves it to his head and tells him he will kill him.
Then apparently he puts the gun up. They shake hands. Then the struggle begins.

They entire process was screwed up when La. let the DOJ "take over".
It is the responsibility and obligation of the District Attorney in EBR to investigate the matter to determine if a crime has been committed. Since the DA (rightfully so) stepped out of the matter because of a personal relationship with one of the "suspects"; the case should have immediately been taken over by the State AG.
La. law was put secondary to Federal law. Immediately after the shooting the matter should have been properly investigated to see if a crime had been committed. The Feds could have elected to investigate the case to see if Federal laws had been broken, but that should not have taken precedence over La. law.
Now everyone is looking at the AG, and the entire matter will continue on longer than it should have taken. Justice delayed is justice denied.
On face value it seems two good cops have to wait in their own sort of "purgatory" while the state looks into the case now. This should not be the case.
La. citizens aren't seeing justice carried out. By now there should have been a proper investigation of all aspects of this case, and evidence presented to the masses for consumption. Again, the people aren't seeing justice carried out because the law was not followed properly in my opinion.
It's been 10 months or so since the shooting of Alton Sterling; yet the legal process is still dragging on. This isn't right.

Now, if he just walked up to Sterling and said this, that's different, but that wouldn't even make sense.
This is what the lawyer implied. He made some offhand comment about the cop's state of mind saying that we know his state of mind when he immediately walks up to the situation and puts a gun to Sterling's head.
If this is true, it would be clear as day on the body cam footage and the surveillance video.
He's already trying to poison the jury pool. Of course, this will never go to trial anyway. The lawyer is a POS.

That sounds very gentlemanly and civilized. Who could have a problem with this?

The US attorney said he pointed a gun at Sterling's head, not that he put a gun to his head. Those two statements conjure two very different mental pictures.

Sterling was a convicted felon who was not supposed to be in possession of a firearm. He knew he would do 10 years if he let the officers pat him down and I think he was done with prison. So it was either shoot them or be shot. He was not going back to jail.

The purge of my stomach innards started the second I heard SWB and JBE open their mouths.

So many excuses. My, how the white man has fallen. I expect that weak shite outside the south but y'all are embarrassing. Do something already.
